The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I enjoyed watching the birds in the wildlife garden while having breakfast. The location of the hostel was very convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop. It was also close to a good supermarket and other amenities like hotels and a chip shop. A major highlight was the proximity to Inveraray Castle, which I had the pleasure of visiting during my stay.
While the hostel had its positive aspects, there were a few aspects that I disliked. the overall atmosphere of the place was not very welcoming.

The location was fantastic - a short walk from the center of town and the beautiful shores of Loch Fyne. The hostel itself was charming, clean, and cozy. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. I also loved the wildlife garden, with its vibrant flowers, vegetable planters, and friendly red squirrel.
The mattress springs in my room were quite prominent, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. the sound insulation could have been better as I could hear noise from other rooms.
